Remember to include this women only ride in the list. http://www.goldilocksride.com/
I certainly will include it—thank you for passing on the word!
Thanks for providing this list!
thank you so much for this list! I can now find some other options for my cycling group
This is great, but does anyone know where I can find rides for both men and women? I’d like to find something in the area and would want my boyfrined with me for my first time.
Jen, Co-ed Rides are fairly easy to find. I’m not sure where you live, but you can often pick up free magazines at your bike shops that have lists of all the local area rides for the season–esp. this time of year! If it is your first ride, choose a ride that offers shorter distances–even if you don’t choose the shorter distance because those rides often have a true sensitivity to “first timers.”
Looks like a great site with womens rides but the only one with 100 miler is the Little Red Riding Hood in Utah. It would be great to see that option added to other rides. many times we have to travel to events and the longer rides are more appealing or even two day events would be great.
I am interested in learning more and going on rides here in Utah to start with.
I would like a schedule of rides so I may participate. I don’t have anyone to ride with so this would be perfect for me.
We are continuing to get lists of new rides–including the 4th women’s ride in Utah–and it offers a full century option–the Wonder Woman Ride! If you include the new all-women mountain biking events, 8 women’s-only rides made their debut in 2010! I have a feeling there will be even more in 2011!
I am so happy to read this. This is the kind of info that needs to be given. Appreciate your sharing this.
Can you please update the Little Red Riding Hood link to http://www.littlered2011.blogspot.com/
Thanks!
Just looking at the list of exciting rides makes me long for fair weather, open roads, and some girlfriends to enjoy it all!
Thanks so much–that is a great new site for the Little Red Riding Hood Ride!
