Kuhl's outdoorsy clothing adapts well for urban cyclists

Cycle and Style is on a mission to find the most comfortable and yet stylish clothing for urban cycling. We want clothes that work well on the bike and continue to have a fresh look upon arrival. We also want the comfortable clothing for the bike to be stylish enough to wear for a night out with friends.

Spencer’s layered look works great for a cold autumn day. –(Rydr pants in Graphite, Thunder Short sleeve in Black, Kore Krew ¼ zip Long-sleeve in Olive, and Kuhl Team jacket in Moss.) The bike is Specialized’s Tricross which is comfortable anywhere the pavement meets the dirt.

Our Review: We checked out the the casual clothing line by Kuhl, available at REI and other outdoor retailers including some local bike shops. We loved the Kuhl clothes; they were comfortable enough that you could wear them all day long. The shirts were especially soft. The pants had stitching around the knees giving them a natural freedom for movement. The clothes are stylish and versatile enough to take you from the bike to the bistro. The women’s shirts fit nicely in all the right places to give the tops a nice feminine look. Although Kuhl’s clothes are durable and rugged they have a natural, easy-to-wear feel.
