Who'd know this beautiful hat is really a helmet? It is the Tokyo style hat in "Pink Jazz."

For far too long, cycling helmets have been considered “safe,” but few would call them stylish. But now, fashion-conscious cyclists can have it both ways! These chic-looking hats have underneath a European-certifed helmet and the hats cleverly cover them. The hats are interchangable so you can get a couple and change them for a summer or winter look or to go with your outfit. With their slogan   “Brainwear for Smart People,” the Scandinavian-based YAKKAY company introduced their chic cyclist helmets last summer and have already won design awards. When will they appear in the US? The answer is not quite yet, the helmets meet European standards and are now in the process of being certified here in the States. In the meantime, YAKKAY has nicely shared some photos with us!

These helmets have a romantic wintry look. Hers is the Luzern in white, and his is called Paris Herringbone.
