I know motorists may be thinking cyclists are crazy to be out riding on a drizzly afternoon, but if you are warm and dry beneath your clothes, you can enjoy the exhilaration of being outside–no matter the weather.
[...] Somehow its always easier if my ride starts out dry and a storm breaks at mid-point. I’m still warm and dry and the rain doesn’t bother me because if I am well-dressed for the weather, the anticipation (dread?) of bad weather is actually much worse than the real thing. I know motorists may be thinking cyclists are crazy to be out riding on a drizzly afternoon, but if you are warm and dry beneath your clothes, you can enjoy the exhilaration of being outside–no matter the weather. Then come home feeling refreshed from your ride and enjoy a warm cup of cocoa. [...]
