Pedal to the Perfect Pumpkin Patch

What could be more fun on a sun-dappled October afternoon than to visit the local pumpkin patch and corn maze? Ride your bicycle all or part of the way to enjoy the country roads and the scenery of hills and fields now mellowed after a hot summer. In autumn, nature itself seems to celebrate with a festival of color and of ripened fruits.

Feel like joining the celebration with Mother Nature? Cornbellys Pumpkin Patch at the aptly named Thanksgiving Point has a fall harvest-carnival atmosphere. It celebrates the fun of autumn’s harvest and it is a great place to start the quest for the perfect pumpkin for a Jack o’Lantern.

  1. That looks so fun! I love the cool fall weather. I would almost go and buy a cruiser with a basket just to go to get a pumpkin for my porch!
