I agree though -- any extra money you might spend at a LBS instead of the big-box store will pay you back 10 times in comfort and service. However, when I went in to get it fitted to me with my mother, they sized the bicycle really weird. They jacked my bike post up so high that when I went on a 62 mile ride, i was hyper-extending my leg just to pedal, which really hurt at the end of my ride. So, my dad called the shop and they re-fitted the bicycle to the CORRECT size taking several centimeters off the stem. I just wish that they had fit it right the first time. Great Article!
